E-Junioren beim EWE-Wintercup!!!
Am 24. Januar 2010 trafen sich 16 Mannschaften aus dem Land Brandenburg und von der Insel Rügen in Fürstenwalde (darunter unsere E-Junioren der Spielgemeinschaft) und spielten in einem Tagesturnier den EWE Wintercup-Champion 2009/10 aus.
Das Turnier hatte es in sich, da sehr stark besetzte Mannschaften vertreten waren. Dem Organisationsteam kann man nur Respekt zollen, da trotz straff durchgezogenem Zeitplan neben den guten Fußballspielen noch genug Zeit für ein ansprechendes Rahmenprogramm bereit stand.

Leider verpassten unsere Kinder nach einem unglücklichen Auftaktspiel (0:0 gegen Putbus, Spiel auf ein Tor), einem klaren Sieg (3:1 gegen Werneuchen) sowie einer Niederlage (0:2 gegen Wildau, den starken Zweitplatzierten des Turniers) knapp den Einzug ins Viertelfinale.
Die Enttäuschung war zunächst riesengroß, doch die nachfolgende Autogrammstunde mit den EWE-Paten Andreas Reinke, Dixi Dörner und Jörg Heinrich entschädigte zumindest teilweise. Die Tränen waren dann bei der Siegerehrung getrocknet, als die Mannschaft einen Pokal und jeder eine Teilnahmemedaille aus den Händen dieser prominenten Fußballer erhielt.
Trotz des anstrengenden Tages war es ein tolles Erlebnis für unsere Kids und deren Eltern. Wir freuen uns schon auf das Exklusivtraining mit unserem Paten des EWE-Cups, Jörg Heinrich, in Lebus und das EWE-Cup Endrundenturnier in Strausberg.
